On May 8, 2020, the Most Reverend Paul S. Coakley, Archbishop of Oklahoma City made official his appointment of Father John Paul Lewis as Chaplain of the Serra Club of Oklahoma City. 

In his letter of appointment, the Archbishop said that "in this role I hope you will endeavor to help the Serrans develop their personal prayer and spiritual lives."

Father Lewis was recently named Associate Director of Vocations for the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City.  Working with Vocations Director Father Brian Buettner, Father Lewis is charged with helping to build a culture of vocations throughout the parishes, schools and broader community of the Archdiocese.

Father Lewis served as Associate Pastor at Saint Peter the Apostle parish in Guymon from 2018 through 2020.  Beginning in July 2020, Father Lewis will be pastor of Blessed Sacrament parish in Lawton.
